What we need
- A concise, well-articulated letter (not exceeding two pages) to request funds from individual donors
Additional details
The Society of Extraordinary Women is planning an event for February 2022.
We would like to increase our sponsors and supporters to create a successful event. Our cause is educating and mentoring girls in underserved communities.
The program offers leadership development and STEM academics with a focus on GIS Mapping technology, and aviation.
We are requesting your help to articulate our cause and benefit to the donor.
What we have in place
- We currently have Impact data and marketing materials, which should make it easy for you to get started. We also have photos, quotes from students and parents, and the ability to provide any other information you need.
How this will help
This project will save us $2,140 , allowing us to upgrade our online class through the use of an interactive white board to reach students unable to attend in person due to COVID-19
Funds from this event will allow us to expand our program, provide scholarships and region and impact the lives of more girls. It will help us to close the achievement gap that currently exist in the communities we serve and allow a pathway to college and a successful career. Currently 15% of the students in the communities that we serve do not graduate from high school. We can change that to a positive outcome.
