Social Media Content Calendar
Social Media Content Calendar
Project details
What we need
- A 4-week content calendar for one social media platform, including graphics & copy (12-20 posts, or as agreed upon by both parties)
- A content calendar template that can be used to plan out posts in the future
Additional details
VADC needs a social media/strategy professional to help us formulate an initial plan. Need to prioritize social media platforms; plan for generating target audience appropriate content, posting schedule, "voice" of posts, visual support for prioritized channels (images, videos, etc.), etc.; engagement with linked individuals; goals/metrics and benchmarks; recommendations for needed financial investments to implement the plan.
What we have in place
- We formed an ad-hoc committee consisting of 4 motivated board members and a staff member to team with the volunteer to come up with the right plan. We want to identify through this process the investments we should make as an organization. We have significant resources available, but need clearer direction and professional advice.
How this will help
This project will save us $11,472 , allowing us to invest in our audience development efforts and expose them to educational and programming.
VADC is looking to optimize its deployment of social media as one set of tools to achieve our organizational goals. Our organizational goals include audience development/engagement, concert ticket sales, education/training, fundraising, etc. We have significant resources we bring to bear on artistic programming and education/training efforts, but only reach a fraction of folks who would likely find it of interest to them
Project plan
Our mission
To showcase classically-trained singers and world-class pianists in concerts that cover a wide range of the world's great song literature. Our existence is a demonstration of what a single individual can accomplish when armed only with an idea and the determination to make it work.
Testimonials
Brittany helped our organizations to develop a strategic plan for social media engagement. The strategy is poised to address a number of organizational objectives, including increasing participation in programming, diversifying our audience, or to raise funds. Brittany proved highly adept at navigating both strategic as well as tactical concerns for our organization. She helped develop a 30, 60, 90, 360 day plan to operationalize the plan, track the achievement of identified goals, and how to connect the strategy with broader organizational objectives. Brittany was very easy to work with, provided leadership when needed, let organizational representatives lead, when needed, and provided an honest, outsider perspective. Her engagement allowed our organization to objectively evaluate our performance against similar other organizations and identify options to move forward. Her engagement was highly professional, dependable, and created numerous highly useful deliverables for the organizations with staying power.
Vocal Arts DC has a very passionate board that is very invested in the future of the organization. They provide a really unique opportunity for people to engage with art song. Joachim is highly organized and engaged.
