What we need
- A 500 - 1,000 word ready-to-publish case study that details your Organization’s impact in a compelling narrative
Additional details
I am looking for writers who can work with grassroots activists to capture the story of their work. Case studies from the population we support (immigrants, prisoners). Also possibly some profiles of leaders within our staff. Language needs to appeal to progressive activists: Black Lives Matter, Abolish ICE, LGBTQ-affirming, etc. Interfaith experience and Spanish language experience a plus.
What we have in place
- We have busy staff with deep grassroots human connections who would be greatly helped by a writer who can put in the time & skill to capture the stories and human experiences and help bring them to a larger audience.
How this will help
This project will save us $3,002 , allowing us to focus our resources on those most directly impacted by systems of oppression.
Improved communications will relieve time burdens from our staff and help inspire support for the people we serve.

We advocate for and with the people most directly impacted by incarceration and immigration detention, building networks of support, accompaniment, and advocacy for justice.
