What we need
  • Significant update to Organization’s existing CMS website, such as adding a new page, customizing a theme, adjusting layout, etc.
  • Smaller update to Organization's non-CMS website

Hello,

I created our nonprofit website and it looks bad. I need help making it look professional. I need more pages added (with content I will provide). It is on wordpress.com.

What we have in place
  • I have an idea of how I want the layout to be (although open for suggestions). I will provide the content. I can dedicate time to work with the volunteer.
How this will help
This project will save us $4,586 , allowing us to move forward with our mission and expand the number of foster children we can help.

We are a new grassroots nonprofit in Tucson, Az. We are working with foster youths in group homes and we have been getting a lot of attention from the public. A nice professional looking website will help us attract more donors and will let our supporters know what we are doing.

  • Volunteer Manager shares link to existing website with Professional
  • Volunteer Manager provides list of required updates to make (including sharing content or image assets, as necessary)
  • Both parties review our pro-tips for Organizations and Volunteers to ensure the project is set up for success

Milestone 1: Kick-Off Meeting
  • Volunteer Manager and Professional connect to discuss requested updates, and agree on a project timeline
  • Volunteer Manager provides Professional with credentials to access the website admin portal

Milestone 2: Review Updates
  • Professional makes the requested updates to the website (if available, the changes should be made in a test or development environment first)
  • Volunteer Manager reviews each update, and reports any remaining issues to the Professional

Milestone 3: Implementation of Updates
  • Professional implements updates to the live website
  • Professional troubleshoots any issues that may arise immediately after implementing changes on the live site
