Our mission

The Free Clinic of Powhatan's mission is building a healthier community one person at a time. The Clinic provides medical, dental, mental health, women's health services, lab testing, specialty physician care, diagnostic imaging ad special procedures and medications at no cost to the eligible patients in Powhatan, Amelia, Chesterfield and Cumberland counties. The clinic's vision is that no low-income resident in the above communities suffer because of the unavailaibility or unaffordability of medical care.
