Project details

What we need
  • 3-5 one hour strategy sessions with a change management professional covering topics like identifying key positions and successors, transition timelines, and action planning for developing existing staff for leadership roles
  • Coaching on how to engage senior leaders and key funders, and strategies for gaining the commitment of board members and staff to manage a planned or an unexpected transition intentionally
Additional details

This succession planning will be for C-Suite team, but we'd like to apply it to front line staff and management as well. It would need to be usable and doable across all departments and levels.

What we have in place
  • We currently have a very hardworking and capable c-suite team, which should make it easy for you to get started. We also have strong teamwork skills, and the ability to provide any other information you need.
How this will help
This project will save us $4,198 , allowing us to put it in other departments or projects that we desperately need to complete.

We want to have plans in place that ensure the sustainability and success of the organization.

Our mission

The mission of Good Samaritan Community Services is to serve as a catalyst for change, supporting youth, individuals and families by providing excellent community services to overcome economic poverty.

What we do

Good Samaritan provides services via two departments, Family Services and Youth and Teen Services. Family Services provides an early head start and per-school program to accelerate learning at an early age, services to families focusing on parent support and engagement and services to senior citizens to minimize isolation and improve socialization through its senior center, a nationally accredited program for senior citizens.

The other main programs for those we serve are provided by the Youth and Teen Services Department. Youth and Teen Services programs help youth acquire the life and academic skills necessary for personal success via Camp Good Sam, a six week summer learning program, a college and career readiness program, and asset building for clients program program both in-school and out of school focus on academic enrichment, STEM activities and leadership development, a Texas Hill Country Camps program for families and their children and youth case management services that supports youth and families on a one on one and group settings.
