Project details

What we need
  • An initial set of Google Analytics reports that can be used to track key metrics about the Organization’s web performance and insights on visitors' interest
  • Training on how to maintain reports and analyze collected data to inform changes to the Organization's web presence
  • Optional: Training on how to create reports and use common insights features in Google Analytics
Additional details

Our organization previously had Google Analytics setup but it appears that our website is no longer being tracked. We need assistance getting Google Analytics back up and running. We could also benefit from training on how to create reports and use common insights features in Google Analytics.

What we have in place
  • We currently have Google Workspace, which should make it easy for you to get started. We also have full access to our website and use Wordpress, and the ability to provide any other information you need.
How this will help
This project will save us $3,757 , allowing us to move forward with our goal to broaden organizational appeal, reach, and constituency. Without the volunteer support we could not move forward with this project at this time.

The ability to analyze our website data will help us better understand how the people we serve are currently using our site. This data and analysis of behavior will help to inform any changes to the content and structure of the site going forward. Longterm, we plan to expand opportunities for participation in our programming by providing an array of access points for the delivery of important, relevant information.

Our mission

Germantown United Community Development Corporation (GU) is a nonprofit serving the Germantown neighborhood in the City of Philadelphia. Germantown is one of the most historic, economically and racially diverse, and civically active communities in this city. Our mission is "to promote and facilitate the revitalization of Germantown and its business corridors through a sustainable, creative, and community-driven approach to economic development."

Our vision is for a Germantown community that embraces and builds upon its rich diversity of residents, businesses, and institutions engaged in and committed to equitable development for everyone.

What we do

Today, Germantown United CDC is the "go-to" organization for community-driven economic development activities and supportive services for the business community, specifically microenterprises, and residents. GU proudly: advances neighborhood revitalization efforts, including (but not limited to) the following activities: provides weekly sidewalk cleaning in the Central Germantown shopping district; implements small greening and beautification projects; encourages community building and civic engagement through workshops, informational meetings, special events, and communication efforts; and, advances the quality of life of Germantown residents, particularly those residents who are traditionally underserved.
