Online Research
Project details
What we need
- A compilation of research on a specific topic (e.g. industry best practices, literature review, media contacts, industry trends, etc.) including a list of sources
- Recommendations on areas for further exploration/research
- Note: This project is not designed to be used for prospect or grant research
Additional details
Our organization provides staff development programs in the area of communication skills, wellness and resiliency. Our programs are typically funded through grants we receive. We want to start offering fee-for-service staff training to the healthcare and law enforcement industries based on our history of successful grant-funded programs. We need market research on programs similar to ours to know what is being offered in this space and for how much -- and who is buying these services.
What we have in place
- We currently have well produced materials on our program for reference, which should make it easy for you to get started. We also have a track record and initial research, and the ability to provide any other information you need.
How this will help
This project will save us $5,239 , allowing us to increase our organizational capacity and provide more programming to individuals and groups in great need, funded in part by revenue generated by fee-for service offerings
We create programs within the criminal and social justice field, and alongside community based organizations, to develop compassion-based tools for increased communication and wellness. Developing a strategy for fee-for-service offerings - based on our current models in healthcare and law enforcement - will enable our organization to branch out into more profitable offerings to balance our important grant-funded work. We need help to better understand these new markets in order to be successful.

Our mission
Center for Council delivers programs and trainings that promote communication, enhance well-being, build community, and foster compassion.
What we do
Our work enables individuals to cultivate tools for improved communication, find common ground with others and create healthy, compassionate and thriving communities. Council fosters recognition of our shared humanity and interconnectedness and enables individuals to give voice to their stories, to develop mutual respect and compassion for others, to cultivate a wholesome response to challenges and stress and to strengthen wellbeing and resilience in themselves and beyond. We like to call it the "ripple effect."
Council practice is at the core of all of our programs. It represents an amalgam of teachings, wisdom traditions and schools of thought from around the globe, blended with science-based mindfulness practices and modern communication techniques developed over several decades. Council offers skillful means for building bridges and developing connection in an increasingly divided world, a tool that can and should be available to all people of all walks of life.
