Our mission
Our mission:
"Inspiring individuals and families to achieve overall wellness through counseling, support, education and making connections to community."
What we do
Family Continuity (FC) was founded in 1985 to provide individuals with community-based resources that reduced the need for institutional care. As a pioneer of this movement, FC's behavioral health services approach every relationship from a place of respect and the deeply held belief that we all hold the keys to our own personal success. FC has offices in the following communities: Worcester, Whitinsville, Lawrence, Peabody, Plymouth, and Hyannis.
Our 36 program portfolio provides a spectrum of emotional, developmental, and behavioral programs for children, adolescents, adults, couples, families and seniors. Our services encompass community and home-based supports as well as outpatient clinics that provide evidence-based, best practice therapies for individuals and families. Our strength's-based treatment philosophy begins with meeting an individual's basic needs and creates a collaborative partnership between client and clinician.
Over the past few years, we have been expanding and growing our supportive services to more fully achieve the above vision. Innovative programs such as our integrated care sites and jail diversion programs are at the cutting edge of the way we approach mental health in our state.
As we look to the future, we are more excited than ever at the agency's potential for significant impact in our community. Continued partnerships with community stakeholders, health officials, and policy makers, help us to achieve our goal of providing a true continuity of supportive care to individuals and families that can transform, not only our clients, but the community as a whole.
