What we need
  • A set of professionally edited, high-resolution images delivered in JPEG or TIFF format optimized for use on the Organization's website, social media, or in printed design materials
  • Written specs describing all visual design elements, filters and text treatments used to ensure consistency for future related work
Additional details

We have old photos from the early days of our organization stacked in piles in our storage area. They have been scanned into a PDF format, but need to be cropped and optimized for storage and use online. This will be especially essential as we enter our 20th anniversary celebration this year! Approximately 400 photos will need attention.

What we have in place
  • We currently have all photos in a digital format, which should make it easy for you to get started. We also have dropbox and google storage options for file sharing, and the ability to provide any other information you need.
How this will help
This project will save us $2,034 , allowing us to focus on building support for our capital campaign to ensure the mission grows and sustains for many, many decades to come.

Being able to incorporate our old photos into our online presence for our 20th anniversary celebration will be a unique way to celebrate the growth of our mission and work throughout the last two decades. Students, faculty and donors will be delighted to see themselves and remember the many ways our school is doing valuable work that can continue for decades to come.

Prep: Distribution of Materials & Input
  • Volunteer Manager provides background on the Organization and goals for the photos (intended usage & number of photos needing editing)
  • Volunteer Manager provides initial input on desired enhancements and optimizations to images including any brand assets to be included (ex: logos, taglines, brand colors, etc…)
  • Professional surveys the images provided by the volunteer manager to assess the condition and work required to satisfy the need
  • Professional and Volunteer Manager agree upon a timeline for initial feedback and final deliverables

Milestone 1: Initial Edits & Feedback
  • Professional edits and optimizes images including but not limited to color enhancement, retouching, removing unwanted details and applying filters
  • Professional adds watermarks or branding (if requested) and outputs the optimize images for review
  • Volunteer Manager provides clear feedback on editing choices and articulates additional areas of improvement

Milestone 2: Final Deliverables
  • Professional delivers high-resolution images to the Volunteer Manager optimized to desired use cases (web, social, print, etc…)
  • Professional provides written specs describing all visual elements, filters and text treatments used to ensure consistency for future related work
  • Organization credits the photos appropriately
