Project details

What we need
  • An easily understood visual aid that communicates complex information
  • A high-resolution version of the Infographic in the Organization’s preferred format
Additional details

The Agricultural Institute of Marin (AIM) is a co-sponsor of Assembly Bill (AB) 125 that supports a resilient and equitable food and farming system as our state recovers from the effects of the COVID-19 pandemic. The impacts of the pandemic have fallen disproportionately on people of color, including the farmworker communities who harvest our food and essential workers throughout our food supply chains.

We are looking to create a series of infographics for AB 125.

What we have in place
  • We currently have Data and information as source materials for AB 125, which should make it easy for you to get started. We also have a website and fact sheet, and the ability to provide any other information you need.
How this will help
This project will save us $4,212 , allowing us to pay communities of color stipends to participate in our coalition.

This project is vital to ensuring the AB 125 coalition can continue to make the case of state funding for a healthy, equitable food system.

Our mission

Our mission is to promote a viable food system, to educate the public about the benefits of buying fresh and locally grown food, and to bring farmers and communities together.

What we do

AIM runs eight California Certified Farmers Markets in the San Francisco Bay Area: three in Marin County, two in San Francisco, and three in Alameda County. We also run a mobile market called the Rollin' Root for food insecure residents, Diggin' Educational programs, and food access incentives. We are also in the middle of a Capital Campaign to create the Center for Food & Agriculture, a world-class farmers market for a healthier food culture. Based on our 501(c)(3) status we work with educating the public about the benefits of eating healthy, locally grown food and supporting local farmers, ranchers, and artisans.
