Project details

What we need
  • Designs for a physical event collateral such as step-and-repeats, banners, tablecloths
  • Designs in appropriate formats for ordering with accurate, print-ready specifications
  • Recommendations on a vendor to create item
  • Note: This project does not include printing or ordering
Additional details

We will need one poster-sized display sign designed. It is a sign listing sponsors for an event.

What we have in place
  • We currently have sponsor logo files (companies) and names (individuals), which should make it easy for you to get started. We also have our organization's logo, and the ability to provide any other information you need.
How this will help
This project will save us $3,002 , allowing us to buy visual art materials for hundreds of children in our core programs in schools, shelters, and community centers.

This project will be displayed at a dedication event for the unveiling of a sculpture that Art with a Heart is bestowing to a city hospital to honor the sacrifices of healthcare workers during the pandemic and the organization's 20th anniversary.

Prep: Information Sharing
  • Volunteer Manager provides the Professional with a budget for materials, finalized copy, high-resolution logo, and any visual branding guidelines to be utilized
  • Volunteer Manager also provides details and example images for desired deliverables (if applicable), examples of existing marketing materials and links to online presence (website and social media)
  • Volunteer Manager shares event branding guidelines (if applicable)

Milestone 1: Graphic Creation
  • Professional and Volunteer Manager discuss how print materials will be utilized, target audience, and style preferences
  • Professional develops preliminary sketches, and garners feedback from Volunteer Manager & makes adjustments as necessary

Milestone 2: Final Draft
  • Professional delivers the final versions in the desired electronic format
  • Professional provides guidance on printing specifications (colors, size, etc.)
  • Professional recommends vendor(s) for ordering physical items

Our mission

Art with a Heart's mission is to enhance the lives of people in need through visual art.

What we do

In 2020, Art with a Heart celebrated its 20th anniversary as an integral part of the Baltimore community, providing equitable access to visual art experiences.
Last year, in the midst of the pandemic, Art with a Heart provided over 134,200 individual art experiences, engaged over 1,285 volunteers, installed 17 public art pieces (for a total of over 300 to date), provided 104 students with workforce training, and continued to enhance the civic participation of students through its Art of Leadership program.
