What we need
- A professionally designed online survey ready to use (set up with Google Forms, SurveyMonkey, Typeform, SurveyLegend, or other tool)
- Training to equip staff to execute and manage survey
Additional details
We are a mid-size nonprofit serving homeless individuals and families, established in 1994. Currently we have 40 full and part-time staff. We have a problem retaining people and have very little institutional knowledge or organizational culture. 70% have been here less than 2 years.
I have done annual employee surveys (survey monkey) but really haven't learned anything. It may be survey design. It may be the staff are afraid to be honest. I need an outsider to look at what we are doing.
What we have in place
- We currently have previous surveys, which should make it easy for you to get started. We also have exit interview comments, and the ability to provide any other information you need.
How this will help
This project will save us $4,828 , allowing us to show the staff how much we appreciate them. Currently we have no budget for these types of things (food, parties, etc)
We have the potential to help even more individuals experiencing homelessness but, with all the new staff, we are always starting over. We can't launch new initiatives because we scramble to continue what is already started.
