What we need
  • An edited 1-3 minute video delivered in electronic format as agreed upon between the Professional and Organization, with HD quality as a master version, along with any agreed upon formats for final usage
Additional details

This project is a bit different from the default description of a 1-3 minute video. We have roughly 2 hours of video footage from an event/concert our organization recently held. We are looking to create several videos from this raw footage. We want to have a roughly 20-minute long "highlights" video of some of the best moments, as well as separate videos of each full performance and speaker that we can send to them.

What we have in place
  • We currently have raw footage from the event, which should make it easy for you to get started. We also have timestamps of clips we want included in the final videos, and the ability to provide any other information you need.
How this will help
This project will save us $5,422 , allowing us to put our resources toward furthering our mission of energy democracy and environmental justice.

This project will help us share our exciting event to a wider audience. With the COVID-19 pandemic still a thought on everyone's minds, it's important to provide alternative viewing options for people who could not attend in person.

Prep: Information Sharing & Asset Exchange
  • Volunteer Manager provides overview of vision and goals for video, as well as information about target audience
  • Volunteer Manager and Professional agree upon file format and length of video
  • Volunteer Manager collects collateral (e.g. raw video footage, photos, testimonials, media materials) to be edited into the video, and digitizes all the materials in the format and resolution suggested by the professional. If applicable, the Organization provides links to 3-5 videos it would like the professional to use as a creative guideline for the final product

Milestone 1: Video Outline & Script Finalization
  • Professional reviews assets that the Organization shared (including existing footage and proposed script) to create video outline
  • Professional shares with Organization and incorporates feedback

Milestone 2: Video Creation & Feedback
  • Professional creates video in agreed upon format and shares with Organization for feedback (up to 2 rounds)

Milestone 3: Final Video Delivery
  • Professional delivers final video in agreed upon format

We are a woman-run nonprofit that works to make climate science and clean energy understandable and actionable for everyone!

What we do

We partner with grassroots orgs in environmental justice communities to design clean energy accessbility projects. This is mostly in the form of microgrids, but we have some others too! Right now we have active projects in Chelsea, MA, Cambridge, MA, and Boston's Chinatown in MA.
