We are looking for research on Missing and Murdered Indigenous Women, Girls, and Two-Spirit (MMIWG2S).

We are seeking to obtain any findings on:
- General info of MMIWG2S campaign history and relevant stats
- Specifically, any data of MMIWG2S in Texas and Bexar County
- What organization/campaigns already exist in bringing awareness to MMIWG2S
- Any policy in place for Bexar County and/or Texas to bring awareness and to end MMIWG2S

  • We currently have Clear research goals and areas of interest, which should make it easy for you to get started. We also have Staff member committed to this project, and the ability to provide any other information you need.
How this will help
This project will save us $5,239 , allowing us to Create a campaign dedicated to this movement to educate and organize for change.

This project is essential because, as a Native non-profit based in Texas, we are responsible for bringing awareness, educating, and demanding systemic changes to protect women, girls, and two-spirit relatives in our community.

The Mission of the American Indians in Texas at the Spanish Colonial Missions is to work for the preservation and protection of the culture and traditions of the Tap Pilam Coahuiltecan Nation and other indigenous people of the Spanish Colonial Missions in South Texas and Northern Mexico through: education, research, community outreach, economic development projects and legislative initiatives at the local, state and federal level.
