What we need
  • Significant update to Organization’s existing CMS website, such as adding a new page, customizing a theme, adjusting layout, etc.
  • Smaller update to Organization's non-CMS website
Additional details

I am the wellness coordinator for the Wellness 50+ group that is part of the Vital Aging Network. We are in desparate need to building our own page with more content on the Vital Aging Network page. We have a communication team for Wellness 50 + who are eager to get going on this.

What we have in place
  • We currently have the people to help with this, which should make it easy for you to get started. We also have the ability to get you access to the site, and the ability to provide any other information you need.
How this will help
This project will save us $4,586 , allowing us to to use our $500 budget that is allocated to each community for events/presenters.

Our Wetllness 50+ program is growing. One of the comments we are getting from our members is that there is "no central page" for everything going on. Each community has their own team, their own Facebook, and we also use Meet Up for trying to ahdvertise our events.

Prep: Share Scope of Changes
  • Volunteer Manager shares link to existing website with Professional
  • Volunteer Manager provides list of required updates to make (including sharing content or image assets, as necessary)
  • Both parties review our pro-tips for Organizations and Volunteers to ensure the project is set up for success

Milestone 1: Kick-Off Meeting
  • Volunteer Manager and Professional connect to discuss requested updates, and agree on a project timeline
  • Volunteer Manager provides Professional with credentials to access the website admin portal

Milestone 2: Review Updates
  • Professional makes the requested updates to the website (if available, the changes should be made in a test or development environment first)
  • Volunteer Manager reviews each update, and reports any remaining issues to the Professional

Milestone 3: Implementation of Updates
  • Professional implements updates to the live website
  • Professional troubleshoots any issues that may arise immediately after implementing changes on the live site
