What we need
- Training on how to create video content for web and specific social media channels, including Facebook, Instagram, and YouTube
- List of recommendations and best practices for shooting a video
- Instructions for how to post videos to respective social media platforms

I am the new Education Coordinator for CMCArts. I just started. I am trying to get the art museum to move away from flyers/images only on social media and instead using short videos to help explain upcoming workshops to help entice viewers to register. We have website, FB page, Instagram, Tweeter, Youtube accounts. I have recently made a TikTok account for the museum and have posted 2 videos. I am interested in learning best practices. I am also trying to market to youth.
What we have in place
- We currently have FB page, Instagram, Youtube, Tweeter, TikTok, which should make it easy for you to get started. We also have cell phone and Nikon P900 to shoot video., and the ability to provide any other information you need.
How this will help
This project will save us $2,397 , allowing us to use the money towards youth fine arts workshops.
I want to change our marketing strategy through videos. By creating interesting videos to help advertise our upcoming workshops especially for youth/students I hope to see our numbers increase. Currently we offer youth workshops for free and also low-cost $10- $20 and they are not full.

Rex was a great short video coach. He helped our art museum create content that was meaningful by explaining the importance of keeping the content short. He listened to ALL my questions and walked me through the steps so that I could better understand TikTok. If I was ever stuck he would respond quickly through emails or schedule Zoom session with me. Rex also went above and beyond by fixing bad audio that two artists had sent me making it ready to post.
