What we need
  • An easily understood visual aid that communicates complex information
  • A high-resolution version of the Infographic in the Organization’s preferred format
Additional details

Infographic outlining the benefits of cultural education on a child's education. We would use this infographic when applying for grants to help us run our kids Hawaiian programs

What we have in place
  • We currently have a kids program that teaches Hawaiian cultural activities, which should make it easy for you to get started. We also have community engagement to help the kids learn about history, and the ability to provide any other information you need.
How this will help
This project will save us $4,212 , allowing us to focus on the kids that we see everyday. This will help us when applying for or reporting on the grants that we receive for this program.

We are committed to providing a combination of academic support and Hawaiian cultural knowledge to our children so they are able to have exposure to the history and significants of this place they call home. We would like to show the benefits of cultural education in an academic way - how they may gain pride, resilience and knowledge in their cultural heritage

  • Volunteer Manager and Professional discuss the objective of the infographic, key audiences, and style preferences (if any)
  • Volunteer Manager shares examples of infographics they like with the Professional
  • Volunteer Manager provides Professional with data or other source of information to draw from

Milestone 1: Preliminary Sketching
  • Professional develops three drafted concepts to share with the Organization
  • Volunteer Manager chooses one draft as a primary concept and provides feedback

Milestone 2: Graphic Creation
  • Professional provides Volunteer Manager with first draft of Infographic
  • Volunteer Manager provides Professional with up to two rounds feedback

Milestone 3: Presentation of Deliverables
  • Professional delivers the final version of the Infographic including specifications for usage (colors, size, etc.)

Our mission is to create and sustain a gathering place for cultural education and for community engagement and actions to support social, civic and recreation events that perpetuate the value of aloha and the betterment of our community.

We are a Community Center in Hanalei. We host children's programs, Farmers' Market, and community events.
