Project details

What we need
  • An edited 1-3 minute video delivered in electronic format as agreed upon between the Professional and Organization, with HD quality as a master version, along with any agreed upon formats for final usage
Additional details

We have a video of testimonies from a really powerful hearing in front of NYC Council that we would love to edit down to a 2-3 minute spot in support of the campaign. Campaign details are here: https://fairrentnyc.nycartc.com/

TakeRoot testimony in support of the bill is here: https://takerootjustice.org/wp-content/uploads/2020/08/2021.9.17-Commercial-Rent-Stabilization_TakeRoot.pdf

What we have in place
  • We currently have video of testimonies a timecode (transcript soon!), which should make it easy for you to get started. We also have dedicated staff who can work with the volunteer, and the ability to provide any other information you need.
How this will help
This project will save us $5,422 , allowing us to pay attorneys to advise on the campaign and provide direct representation to small businesses in their negotiations with landlords

it will help advance commercial rent stabilization in NYC

Paula was a joy to work with! She's putting a ton of effort into very important work, and I'm very happy I could help her and her colleagues with the videos.
