Project details

What we need
  • A 4-week content calendar for one social media platform, including graphics & copy (12-20 posts, or as agreed upon by both parties)
  • A content calendar template that can be used to plan out posts in the future
Additional details

I'm seeking a social media volunteer for Facebook and Instagram. I like to post 3 to 4 times a week, and we have plenty of adorable and fascinating content about river otters including photos, videos, volunteers, and a great website to mine. We have an active presentation schedule, research results, and an education program. Ideally this person would become a long-term social media volunteer if they enjoy working with our project.

What we have in place
  • We currently have Canva, photos, videos, stories, partnerships, an art contest, which should make it easy for you to get started. We also have people to provide content, and the ability to provide any other information you need.
How this will help
This project will save us $4,212 , allowing us to serve our mission more effectively, outreach and fundraise more effectively.

We are an understaffed organization with many programs and exciting activities. Social media takes up too much of our Director's time.

Our mission

Due to their charisma, river otters are important ambassadors for watershed conservation. Their recent return to our local Bay Area watersheds is a sign of environmental success and a reason for faith in the efficacy of restoration efforts.

Our mission is to engage the public in supporting conservation and restoration by linking river otter recovery to the health of our watersheds through education, research, and community science.

Our vision is to inspire personal connections and motivate meaningful actions to preserve our shared natural landscapes for future generations.

Testimonials

Giorgos was a terrific social media manager for the several months he was with us. He was always available, always ready to jump in and make our social shine. There was a bit of a language and time difference, which he was easily able to overcome, and working with Giorgos was immensely satisfying. Thank you so much!
