What we need
  • An edited 1-3 minute video delivered in electronic format as agreed upon between the Professional and Organization, with HD quality as a master version, along with any agreed upon formats for final usage
Additional details

We are seeking support in editing together a few (completed) short films and accompanying slides for our upcoming virtual event.

What we have in place
  • We are preparing for our upcoming screening which celebrates the graduates of our summer youth filmmaking program, and their inspiring short documentaries. While all of the films will be complete, we need to create one file that combines the films along with a few opening and closing slides. We will provide the slides and individual film files.
How this will help
This project will save us $5,422 , allowing us to focus our resources on serving our inspiring youth filmmakers & activists!

Your support on this project will be essential to our screening, and will enable us to properly celebrate the accomplishments of our youth filmmakers!

Prep: Information Sharing & Asset Exchange
  • Volunteer Manager provides overview of vision and goals for video, as well as information about target audience
  • Volunteer Manager and Professional agree upon file format and length of video
  • Volunteer Manager collects collateral (e.g. raw video footage, photos, testimonials, media materials) to be edited into the video, and digitizes all the materials in the format and resolution suggested by the professional. If applicable, the Organization provides links to 3-5 videos it would like the professional to use as a creative guideline for the final product

Milestone 1: Video Outline & Script Finalization
  • Professional reviews assets that the Organization shared (including existing footage and proposed script) to create video outline
  • Professional shares with Organization and incorporates feedback

Milestone 2: Video Creation & Feedback
  • Professional creates video in agreed upon format and shares with Organization for feedback (up to 2 rounds)

Milestone 3: Final Video Delivery
  • Professional delivers final video in agreed upon format
