Membership Strategy
Membership Strategy
Project details
What we need
- A Membership Strategy document of 2-4 pages, including analysis of the Organization’s current membership program, step-by-step guide to a new or improved program, growth goals and creative outreach strategies
Additional details
Our organization is going back to an informal membership structure. We want to diversify our membership and create a robust community of donors, volunteers, storytellers, and more. But first, we realize we need to cultivate our current people and move into a multi-year project that moves from our existing donors and partners, community members and stakeholders, and then to those wearier about civic engagement and policy.
What we have in place
- We currently have a community of core donors and volunteers, which should make it easy for you to get started. We also have a basic outline of a multi-year plan, and the ability to provide any other information you need.
How this will help
This project will save us $5,848 , allowing us to focus on programs and creating more tools and resources for Mainers to access levers of power, such as help writing an op-ed or help with submitting testimony for a bill.
PURPOSE: To expand our base of stakeholders and supporters for increased sustainability and political power; to create a more informed and engaged community of activists (through more word of mouth and more program opportunities); to ensure our organization more effectively represents the wide range of people in Maine affected by sexism and misogyny.
