Project details

What we need
  • Final designs for a predetermined type of promotional apparel (e.g., t-shirts, hats, shorts, other swag) or merchandise (mugs, pens, tote bags, etc.) provided in the high-resolution format of the Organization's choice
  • Note: Printing and vendor sourcing is not included
Additional details

We are hoping to feature for sale a series of 4 tee shirts per year (one per quarter), the first to be released in time for this year's holiday shopping season - app. Nov 1. It's possible we will get into additional merch as well, but want to start with tshirts.

What we have in place
  • We currently have two great tag lines, and strong brand image, which should make it easy for you to get started. We also have a vendor selected, and the ability to provide any other information you need.
How this will help
This project will save us $5,422 , allowing us to underwrite 4-5 girls' tuitions to attend the Kitenga Girls Secondary School in Tanzania

We sponsored Malala when she came to Buffalo a couple of years ago and the 'Change the World' tee we sold flew off the shelves! We feel the tees can help by both building our brand and raising needed revenue to support our mission.

Our mission

We equip marginalized girls to transcend their circumstances, realize their fullest potential and become catalysts for change, through the transformative power of education. We do this via allyships with locally-driven initiatives in underserved rural areas of developing countries.

What we do

Girls Education Collaborative (GEC) brings social change through the transformational power of girls education and our fight for global gender equality. We link arms with local change agents in rural, under-served geographical regions with high rates of gender inequality and economic poverty. We help girls transform their own lives through education.

We do this by establishing pivotal partnerships with advocates within a community to catalyze and support their local initiatives centered on educating girls. Our support is responsive, flexible, and multi-faceted, and can include financial and technical assistance, thought partnership, and project management.
