Project details

Additional details

Our payroll is small but complicated! Currently, because of a tight budget and a slow summer period, many staff members are expected to take 2-4 weeks of unpaid leave in the summer (this is in their offer letter). This is difficult to explain, even to our external payroll manager, and tricky to monitor. I would love the opportunity to consult with a professional as to a better approach and plan for the possible transition from this system. We have 6 employees. Thank you!

What we have in place
  • We currently have offer letters that need to be reviewed and standardized, which should make it easy for you to get started. We also have a interim ED who is willing to learn how to do this better, and the ability to provide any other information you need.
How this will help
This project will save us $1,480 , allowing us to focus our resources on providing advice & support for parents & families so they can get the most out of the public schools system in San Francisco, and we can build a stronger city post-pandemic.

Our organisation is tiny and we have key staff taking on multiple responsibilities. We sometimes struggle to keep all our functions as efficient and effective as we want. We have limited resources so being able to keep good people in our team is especially important. We feel that with better HR systems in place, we can encourage great staff to stay and provide efficiency that saves our operational staff time.
