Project details

What we need
  • A compelling narrative, or set of stories
  • Persuasive copy that can be used in appeals to donors, annual reports, grant applications, and media relations
  • Popular examples: Organization's founding story, a program achievement or milestone, a look back at the past few years, organizational backgrounder, etc.
  • Note: This project is not intended to support your general content planning or marketing but there are several projects in our Marketing & Communications category which are a good fit!
Additional details

In response to the pandemic, we have completely changed our programming model to leverage technology, asynchronous online courses, virtual workshops, and volunteer peer mentors and facilitators to expand our reach. We now need to update our story and how we describe what we do to reflect our new model and our evolution.

What we have in place
  • Calm Clarity and its founder, Due Quach, (and the book) has been featured in a number of newspaper articles and a documentary film, called the Portal.

The list of articles can be found here:
    https://www.calmclarity.org/news

This podcast and follow-up podcast also share our story:

How this will help
This project will save us $2,397 , allowing us to focus our resources on building out new programs and supporting volunteers to serve in communities experiencing disparities in mental health and well-being.

Being able to tell our story in a more effective, powerful, and concise way will help us more effectively engage with donors and rally support for the work we do address disparities in mental health and well-being in low-income communities. It will also enable us to attract more volunteers and organizations to collaborate with us.

Our mission

We guide and support people to rewire their brain and embrace their inner wisdom to improve their well-being and become inclusive leaders. Our organization uses what we call "Brain 3.0" to help build an inclusive society where human beings of every skin color, ethnicity, gender, and socioeconomic status are valued and nurtured to thrive, discover and develop their gifts and talents, and realize their full potential.

What we do

We provide training, consulting, and other resources to guide people and organizations to develop and strengthen neural networks we refer to as "Brain 3.0." Brain 3.0 is a state of brain optimization that enables people to:
-master their urges and impulses
-heal trauma
-counteract unconscious biases
-change limiting patterns
-navigate challenges and crises
-embody their core values and aspirations
-realize a greater vision and purpose.

Currently, to create mental health equity, we are building a digital platform and a peer mentorship program to support more people, especially in communities of color, to improve their well-being.
