I have a current drafted mission statement that I need to wordsmith a bit to make it less wordy and more aligned with our programs and objectives. I also have older vision and values "type" statements to work with when creating a fresh set of mission, vision, and values statements.

What we have in place
  • We currently have current draft of mission, older vision and values statements, which should make it easy for you to get started. We also have a staff member to discuss the new versions and provide info, and the ability to provide any other information you need.
How this will help
This project will save us $7,248 , allowing us to provide more programs for arts, culture, and history organizations in South Jersey.

This project will help us clearly articulate our mission, vision, and values for our members, funders, and cultural community.

  • Professional and Volunteer Manager connect to discuss prep materials, the current vision, and future plans
  • Professional creates an outline for the mission, vision & values and incorporates any feedback from the Volunteer Manager

  • Volunteer Manager provides feedback which the Professional incorporates

Our mission

SJCA's mission is to strengthen South Jersey's cultural community by connecting them to information, resources, and each other. SJCA envisions a region where individuals of all ages and backgrounds are engaged and enriched through arts, history, and culture, and where communities prosper through a creative economy.

What we do

SJCA extends membership benefits to all arts, culture, history, cultural community groups, and independent artists in each of the state's southern eight counties (Atlantic, Burlington, Camden, Cape May, Cumberland, Gloucester, Ocean, and Salem). We are striving to represent the full spectrum of arts, culture, and history in our region and work towards a more equitable and inclusive South Jersey cultural community.
