What We Need
  • Recommendation(s) on the most appropriate webinar software, depending on Organization's needs and budget
  • Training for up to 5 staff on how to set-up and use chosen software
  • Note: Some webinar software providers may provide free or heavily discounted plans for 501(c)(3) nonprofits
What We Have In Place
  • We currently have a zoom webinar subscription, which should make it easy for you to get started. We also have general competency of the zoom platform, and the ability to provide any other information you need.
How This Will Help
This project will save us $1,145 , allowing us to direct more resources to supporting workers and the worker and civil rights movement in the South. This event will help bring awareness to the organization and the issues southern workers are facing.

Jobs to Move America will be hosting its first friendraising virtual event this fall. Help us plan out the logistics of this event that is intended to highlight the work of our Southern Program team in building the new Southern worker movement by bringing together labor and community to elevate civil rights and worker rights in the South. We need support in discussing best practices for virtual streaming and setting up the event on zoom.

Prep: Information Gathering & Goal Setting
  • Professional and Volunteer Manager discuss Organization's needs with regards to webinars and which platform is most appropriate
Milestone 1: Set-Up
  • Professional helps Volunteer Manager with initial set-up instructions
Milestone 2: Training
  • Professional trains up to 5 team members on how to use the webinar software, including any best practices or tips to reach their stated goals
