Employee Handbook
Employee Handbook
Project details
What we need
- Audit of existing Employee Handbook, or internal communications regarding employment policies
- Edit or creation of a new Employee Handbook, which may include any of the following: Standards of Conduct, Work Schedules, Leave Policies, Termination Policies, Safety and Security, Anti-Discrimination policies, Compensation and Benefits policies, any Non-Disclosure Agreements or Conflict of Interest statements that may apply, and any other pertinent information
Additional details
Volunteer handbook is needed to improve communications to volunteers.
What we have in place
- We currently have policy and procedure, which should make it easy for you to get started. We also have terms and conditions to incorporate, and the ability to provide any other information you need.
How this will help
This project will save us $2,430 , allowing us to cover the cost of background checks to keep our platform free.
We want to bring a lot of the info from the website and the forms they check off upon enrollment into a digital handbook to be able to send in an email/post in our volunteer page for them to refer to as needed.
Project plan
Our mission
UR Community Cares ("UCC") provides an innovative, intergenerational roadmap to connect local Volunteers with age-qualified adults in need of at-home assistance. Our secure online platform helps support Community Members as they age in place. Our services fill in the gaps of traditional home care by mobilizing residents to connect with each other. Town by town, we link people who can help to those who need help.
What we do
We help fill in the gaps of traditional at-home care services by mobilizing residents to care about and connect with each other. Our goal is to link people who can help to those who need help - whether it's for one hour per week or month or year - because UR COMMUNITY CARES. How to participate. Using our secure website, interested Volunteers and Community Members each create an online profile and upload an ID-type photo (to allow one another to be recognized upon arrival for the in-home visit). When a Community Member submits a request for a Community Deed, local registered Volunteers are notified by email/text then sign into their account to view and accept or decline it. Volunteers age 15-17 must have parental consent and visit supervision. (We do not provide any licensed work. Participants must agree to terms and conditions, privacy policy, user policy and procedure.)
