What we need
  • Setup of professional social media profile(s) consistent with the Organization’s brand messaging in platforms like Facebook, Twitter, Linkedin, Instagram, etc.
  • Training for the Organization’s staff on how to manage social media account(s)
Additional details

Our organisation has a Facebook page, however, we don't have much traction. I think LinkedIn is a better audience. It would be great to get assistance with this.

What we have in place
  • We currently have a Facebook page, which should make it easy for you to get started. We also have a website (jewishqld.com), and the ability to provide any other information you need.
How this will help
This project will save us $2,397 , allowing us to promote important educational campaigns (for instance combatting racism/antisemitism) via social media.

It is important we have a public profile - to both raise awareness of what we do, and share news and events with our community. Currently, our Facebook page does not get a lot of traction, hence keen to provide a LinkedIn presence.

Milestone 1: Social Media Account Setup
  • Professional establishes social media accounts, completes “About Us” pages, and uploads logo and/or key images
  • Professional links the Organization’s website to the social media accounts (if applicable)
  • Volunteer Manager provides feedback, which Professional incorporates

  • Professional trains Volunteer Manager how to manage social media accounts and answers any questions

The mission of the Queensland Jewish Board of Deputies is to promote the rights of, welfare, education, security and advancement of Jewish individuals, communities and organisations throughout the state. We are the central roof body that represents all Queensland Jewry.

What we do

The QJBD represents Queensland Jewry in all matters of public comment or public interest. We promote unity within the Jewish community, goodwill and understanding between the Jewish community and other faiths, and present events of interest.
