Project details

What we need
  • 1-2 page press release that can be distributed to news outlets
Additional details

A Final Tribute to the Centennial of Women Winning the Vote in an event honoring women who won us the vote and those championing voting rights today. The National Women's History Alliance 2021 Honoree Luncheon will be held on Saturday, August 21, 2021 at The Hamilton, Washington, DC.
Valiant Women of the Vote: Refusing to be Silenced.
The National Women's History Alliance cordially
invites you to recognize and celebrate
the 2020-2021 Honorees.

What we have in place
  • Event is scheduled, honorees selected, graphics of event and honorees created. Event is the finale to the year-long Centennial of Women's Suffrage, we want to promote our organization, the event, but also the historic landmark of Women's Suffrage. We are a nationally recognized organization which for over 40 years stimulates and promotes Women's History. We have some media outlets which would recognize us, but would like to expand into more mainstream outlets. Some social media in place.
How this will help
This project will save us $1,096 , allowing us to create a bigger, more public event, by using a live stream from the Event so others can join us and to comp students or Seniors.

To bring attention to our fund-raising event; to publicize women's winning the right to vote, to bring hidden women and their courage and achievements out of darkness. To increase our visibility and support. To raise funds for on-going work. To continue to bring awareness of the campaigns for voting rights, using the Women's battle for the Ballot as example of persistence and dedication to a cause .
