What we need
- An Excel spreadsheet custom-built specifically for the Organization's finances
- Training on how to use the spreadsheet to understand the current financial situation and predict future states (e.g., plan for budget increases or decreases, hiring, and other key drivers)
Additional details
Our organization does not currently use any tool for cash management or forecasting. I'm seeking guidance on creating a useful excel tool to help manage our inflows and outflows and use for current and long range planning. We use Sage Intacct for accounting and have the Cash Management module but it has never been used. I am new in my Finance Director role here. I am a CPA and have worked with files like this in the past.
What we have in place
- We currently have a strong accounting software program and excel knowledge, which should make it easy for you to get started. We also have 8 that I supervise in our business office to supply info, and the ability to provide any other information you need.
How this will help
This project will save us $14,474 , allowing us to continue to serve our nursing home patients with excellent care and keep the necessary staff on hand to do this.
This would greatly help in making decisions and provide greatly control over our finances and budget. We have been hit very hard by Covid; this last year has greatly affected our revenues and we are in dire need of close control over cash and expense control
