Additional details

SPECIALTY content writer. We are looking for support with 350-word blog entries on the subjects of sewing, quilting, and needle arts. We are also interested in the history of Black women in the industries of fashion, textiles, and other needle arts. Volunteers would be able to follow their own direction/interest or take inspiration from one of our podcast episodes.

What we have in place
  • We currently have a long list of episodes available as audio files, most of which also have written transcripts. Each episode is available on Apple podcasts, Spotify and other places where podcasts are found, including the podcast website. For episodes that have not yet been published, we have a google file with audio recording and draft transcript. This makes it easy to access.
How this will help
This project will save us $1,187 , allowing us to This will help us conserve scarce resources while also producing high quality blog entries with peppy writing and, ideally, with relevant keywords.

This job is essential to the development of our website. It is not enough that the site be beautiful (WHICH IT IS!) it must also be functional. One function we want our website to serve is as a resource for ideas. These blog entries are crucial for this endeavor.
