Project details

What we need
  • Update to or creation of one new HR policy or procedure, such as any of the following: Standards of Conduct, Work Schedules, Leave Policies, Termination Policies, Safety & Security, Anti-Discrimination policies, Compensation & Benefits policies, Work From Home Policies, etc.
Additional details

New Child Safe Standards that will come into effect in Victoria, Australia on 1 July 2022. The 11 new Standards will replace the current 7 standards. They set out minimum requirements and actions organisations must take to keep young people safe. UJEB will need to update its Child Safety Policy to accord with the new requirements. We have all the resources available to support this project. Candidates must be familiar with child safety regulation in Vic or another Australian jurisdiction.

What we have in place
  • We currently have a Child Safety Policy, which should make it easy for you to get started. We also have a number of guidelines from the Govt re the required changes, and the ability to provide any other information you need.
How this will help
This project will save us $1,480 , allowing us to invest that money in training staff and volunteers on all aspects regarding the the new Child Safe Standards required in the State of Victoria, Australia, from 1 July 2022

As an educational institution that provides services to school aged children, child safety is our number one priority. Compliance with government regulations is also critical to us and we'd like to be well prepared for when the new Child Safe Standards come into effect on 1 July 2022, as required in the State of Victoria, Australia.
