What we need
  • Strategy for using Instagram to engage your community, tailored to Organization’s goals and target audience
  • Training on how to find and post content on Instagram

I need help to plan what, when and how I should post on Instagram as well as strategies to get more followers

What we have in place
  • We currently have an Instagram account with 368 followers, which should make it easy for you to get started. We also have basic user knowledge of Instagram, good photos, and the ability to provide any other information you need.
How this will help
This project will save us $4,212 , allowing us to use the resources to pay for initiatives that provide that interaction between the young people, such as events, trips (when they resume), etc

I work for a department that focuses on providing life changing experience trips to young adults 18-30 and this would help our organisation to connect in the channels that young people are. I think this is a tool which I am not using properly or could definitely make more out of it.

  • Volunteer Manager and Professional connect to discuss the Organization’s current approach to Instagram (if any), goals for engagement via Instagram, and ideal target audience
  • Volunteer Manager shares any existing marketing materials and brand guidelines with Professional

Milestone 1: Set up Instagram for Business Account
  • Volunteer Manager shares Instagram credentials with Professional, if an existing account exists
  • Professional sets up account with bio and profile picture

Milestone 2: Develop Engagement Strategy
  • Professional recommends other types of accounts to follow and hashtags to use in order to build follower base
  • Professional recommends types and frequency of content to post on account (including posts, stories, and live videos)

Milestone 3: Content Creation Training
  • Professional trains Volunteer Manager on how to capture and/or find images to post on Instagram
  • Professional trains Volunteer Manager on how to use Instagram editing tools
