Salesforce Database Customization
Salesforce Database Customization
Project details
What we need
- Enhanced understanding of functionality of previously built SalesForce instance, includng custom objects
- Migration of our current data sources to Salesforce
- Training for designated staff member on new objects, reports and views
- “Hand-off” documentation on the object schemas and any custom code
What we have in place
- We currently have a nearly-completely built SalesForce instance, which should make it easy for you to get started. We also have a dedicated employee accountable for the database, and the ability to provide any other information you need.
How this will help
This project will save us $40,942 , allowing us to assist 15 individuals experiencing homelessness in moving into independent housing.
Back on My Feet is an innovative, entrepreneurial organization serving individuals experiencing homelessness. We grew from one chapter--Philadelphia--in 2007 to 11 chapters, nation-wide in 2014. After such rapid growth, we are now in a period of stabilization and critical thinking about how we are able to serve more individuals and do so sustainably. Having a SalesForce database will improve our efficiency in donor management, event planning, and fund raising and will allow us to put more efforts into ending homelessness.

Our mission
Back on My Feet (BoMF) is a national 501(c)3 charitable organization that uses running to help those experiencing homelessness change the way they see themselves so they can make real change in their lives that results in employment and independent living.
What we do
Back on My Feet’s unique program takes a holistic approach to combating homelessness. Back on My Feet does not provide food or shelter, but instead provides a community that offers coaching, resources, job training and access to employment opportunities. Back on My Feet follows a two-phase program in which Residential Members (individuals experiencing homelessness) participate for six to nine months. During the first phase of the program, Back on My Feet staff, volunteers, and fellow Members meet three times a week at 5:30 a.m. to run together as a team. Bringing these individuals together creates a positive, team-oriented atmosphere that couples high expectations for personal responsibility with the support and resources to effect meaningful change. During the second phase of the program, called Next Steps, Members are afforded access to educational and job training opportunities and work toward employment and independent housing.
