Project details

What we need
  • Update to or creation of one new HR policy or procedure, such as any of the following: Standards of Conduct, Work Schedules, Leave Policies, Termination Policies, Safety & Security, Anti-Discrimination policies, Compensation & Benefits policies, Work From Home Policies, etc.
Additional details

Aloha, we are looking for a simple and clear policy on Zoom Best Practices for both in office and remote workers, as well as interns and volunteers.

What we have in place
  • We are able to provide insight into the operations of our company and what ideas we have in mind regarding the Zoom Best Practices policy we would like to have created.
How this will help
This project will save us $1,955 , allowing us to continue to focus on creating and delivering excellent products and services aimed at educating and uplifting native Hawaiians and people in Hawai`i.

As much of our cultural consulting has switched over to an online delivery we would like to update our list of policies to include those that cover virtual behavior. This project will help us ensure that we are always providing quality and professional online services by having a guiding policy for best practices.

Project plan

P

  • Volunteer Manager explains what they're looking for in this policy
  • Professional determines if changes need to be made to existing policy(s)
  • Professional determines if the Volunteer Manager needs to collect additional information from employees (i.e., survey results)
1
Milestone 1: Draft of Policy
  • Volunteer Manager and Professional review a draft of the policy, and determine next steps (i.e., buy-in/approval from additional parties)
2
Milestone 2: Wrap-up & Learnings

Working with Denise was awesome! She was able to create our Zoom Video Communications Policy which helped us update our overall operations that have been impacted by the pandemic using her expertise in Human Resources. Denise communicated promptly and asked questions as needed making the process go smoothly despite our time differences. I highly recommend Denise for your next HR Policy Writing project!

HR Policy Writing Project

I am beyond blessed to have the opportunity to meet Leilani and help KU-A-KANAKA update their policies and procedurest to include Zoom Conferencing. Life sometimes hits a speed bump or two. To work with other professionals that understand and display patience and empathy means a great deal. Leilani was always kind and friendly and communicated promptly with anything that I needed. She is a valuable asset to KU-A-KANAKA and is the perfect example of a compassionate professional. My door is always open should they need further assistance with any projects in the future.
