Project details

What we need
  • Significant update to Organization’s existing CMS website, such as adding a new page, customizing a theme, adjusting layout, etc.
  • Smaller update to Organization's non-CMS website
Additional details

We are ready to launch fundraising for our November event and I'd like to create a new page on our site for this event. I have the content ready but don't know how to create.

What we have in place
  • We currently have copy and graphics, which should make it easy for you to get started. We also have access to the site, and the ability to provide any other information you need.
How this will help
This project will save us $4,586 , allowing us to redirect funds to provide additional support to our high school students.

This is an annual community opportunity and fundraiser for the Foundation that will raise funds for programming and student initiatives for CityLab High School.

Prep: Share Scope of Changes
  • Volunteer Manager shares link to existing website with Professional
  • Volunteer Manager provides list of required updates to make (including sharing content or image assets, as necessary)
  • Both parties review our pro-tips for Organizations and Volunteers to ensure the project is set up for success

Milestone 1: Kick-Off Meeting
  • Volunteer Manager and Professional connect to discuss requested updates, and agree on a project timeline
  • Volunteer Manager provides Professional with credentials to access the website admin portal

Milestone 2: Review Updates
  • Professional makes the requested updates to the website (if available, the changes should be made in a test or development environment first)
  • Volunteer Manager reviews each update, and reports any remaining issues to the Professional

Milestone 3: Implementation of Updates
  • Professional implements updates to the live website
  • Professional troubleshoots any issues that may arise immediately after implementing changes on the live site

Our mission

CityLab High School Foundation is an independent nonprofit organization advocating for and supporting the mission of CityLab High School by fostering community involvement and securing funding support. Working together, we are turning today's engaged learners into tomorrow's creative thought leaders.

CityLab is a Dallas ISD Choice high school introducing students to architecture, urban planning and environmental sustainability through rigorous project-based curriculum. Using downtown Dallas and the urban core as their extended classroom, CityLab students not only learn from the city around them, they help transform it.
