Visual Brand Guide
Visual Brand Guide
Project details
What we need
- Visual branding guidelines/style guide in .pdf and/or print format that includes specific colors, primary and secondary typefaces, minimum size and buffer space for logo, examples of incorrect logo usage, and any other graphic design elements, to guide use in print and digital communications materials
Additional details
Hi there! Thanks so much for considering this project with IDC. We have a Style Guide, however it hasn't been updated since 2016. It would be great to have this reviewed, assessed and updated to make it current and relevant to style and branding best practices that exist now. We are very open to new approaches and would love to learn more from an expert in this area. Thank you!
What we have in place
- We currently have a logo, which should make it easy for you to get started. We also have a style guide (which needs updating), and the ability to provide any other information you need.
How this will help
This project will save us $4,212 , allowing us to focus our energy towards supporting our members and partners who are campaigning to end immigration detention, and also provide them with a coherent branding guide and strategy for their work.
This project is critical to ensuring that all IDC staff, members, volunteers, and materials are aligned in the way the organisation is represented. As we are a global network, with people spread out across the world, our branding coherence is critical to ensure our collective impact. Aside from external recognition of our work to end immigration detention, a new branding guide would bring internal cohesion and team spirit among our network as well.
Project plan
Our mission
IDC advocates to secure the human rights of people impacted by and at-risk of immigration detention. In partnership with civil society, UN agencies, and multiple levels of government, we strategically build movements, and influence law, policy and practices to reduce immigration detention and implement rights-based alternatives to detention.
Testimonials
Greg was so wonderful to work with on this project! He assessed our current materials and was able to identify much clearer ways for us to visualise and share information, and also ways that we needed to update information to make our branding guidelines more current and relevant. I appreciated his willingness to share his knowledge and expertise on digital branding, and he was also very patient and flexible. Our organisation now has a coherent and strong branding guide that will create so much more clarity for our staff and stakeholders as we move forward. Thanks so much to Greg for this!
Mia-Lia Boua Kiernan who was my contact with IDC was extremely easy to work with. She was clear with her needs, completely open to my input, and prompt with response to my proofs. All the while dealing with a hard lockdown due to a surge in the Delta variant and IDC's response to the dire and immediate needs of the people of Afghanistan. This is clearly an organized and dedicated individual/organization. I'm honored to have worked with Mia-lia and IDC.
