Project details

What we need
  • A high-resolution digital version of an illustration that can be used across multiple channels (web, print, and/or merchandising)
Additional details

TOM: Melbourne would love 6-7 small illustrations/ mascots that can be used within our schools' program. We would love an illustration to match each step of the Design Thinking Process (Empathise, Define, Ideate, Prototype, Test, Repeat) that would match in colour with our print media.

What we have in place
  • We currently have examples of the illustrations we are after, which should make it easy for you to get started. We also have the colours and words to match the illustrations, and the ability to provide any other information you need.
How this will help
This project will save us $3,002 , allowing us to deliver to 8 schools with low socio-economic advantage. We would be able to provide our program free of charge for these schools, to inspire the next generation to create an inclusive society.

This project is important to develop our TOM@SCHOOLS program and for students to have illustrations to guide and develop their learning. We hope these illustrations will become synonymous with the Tikkun Olam Makers movement!

Our mission

TOM's vision is a world in which technology and innovation allow every person acccess to affordable solutions to their needs. Our moonshot mission is to help 250,000,000 people by inspiring and supporting a global network of communities dedicated to this vision.

What we do

We work with people with a disability who have a specific need, "Need-Knowers", and connect them with a diverse group of professionals, including engineers, industrial designers, health professionals and tradespeople, "Makers".

Together, they design and build products that solve a complex problem and improve the everyday life of the Need-Knower. Recent prototypes include robotic arms, powered crutches, wheelchair wheel cleaners and bespoke exercise machines. The intellectual property for every product is then shared through open-source Digital Product Files, so others can replicate or iterate it in their own communities around the world.

Testimonials

It has been an absolute pleasure to work with Blue on this project. Throughout the whole process, they have been extremely dedicated and interested in the work that our non-profit does. Blue is to be commended on the quality of work they have created, which has exceeded our expectations entirely. Blue is warm, friendly and has been able to execute our vision without fault. Blue was wonderful with checking in and asked fantastic questions to ensure the outcome would communicate our vision and goals. We would love the opportunity to collaborate again!

Illustration Project

Such a great nonprofit with a wonderful initiative. I loved working with Tay, and the team had great feedback throughout the process. They also had a very clear idea of what they wanted for the project and it was so helpful in making the illustrations exactly what they were looking for. I would work for them again in a heartbeat.
