Employee Review Process
Employee Review Process
Project details
What we need
- A documented process outlining how to administer a top-down, peer-to-peer, or a full 360 employee review process
- A communication plan to share the process with others in the Organization to help them understand the approach and desired outcomes
- Recommendations on tools that can be used to collect feedback (anonymous or identified) and organize quantitative and qualitative results
- Best practices for rolling out the performance reviews, and coaching advice for managers and individual contributors
Additional details
We have a mid-year and annual review process that we would like to audit and update to better align with our organization's competency model, team members' self-identified strengths, strategic goals, etc. so that staff a full, well-rounded and supportive review experience.
What we have in place
- We currently have a fully-formed competency model, which should make it easy for you to get started. We also have a current review process and documents, and the ability to provide any other information you need.
How this will help
This project will save us $8,686 , allowing us to allow us to bring in additional writing instruction support and mentorship so that we can expand our after school program and make them more accessible to students on the south side of Chicago.
We are an exciting growth point in our organization, we are centering wellness in our work culture, and what to ensure that our team members have a well-rounded, supportive, and helpful review experience that now only helps them to receive performance feedback, but also explores and connects to strengths, sets goals (individual and organizational), and inspires them forward.
Project plan
Our mission
826CHI is a nonprofit youth writing mentorship program and publishing center dedicated to supporting students ages 6-18 in their creative and expository writing, and supporting teachers in inspiring their students to write.
We champion the powerful voices of Chicago youth by providing high quality and innovative literacy and arts education, and we amplify their stories through professional publication and showcasing.
We encourage the exploration of endless possibility through the power of writing for students, for teachers, and for communities.
What we do
826CHI provides individualized instruction, field trips, in-school and community-based writing workshops to students aged 6-18 across Chicago that focus on creative and expository writing.
We prioritize Black, Indigenous, People of Color (BIPOC) students, limited-income students, gender non-conforming, non-binary, and trans students, community and neighborhood schools that do not have selective enrollment and have a low number of existing arts partnerships, as well as students and classes with low-proficiency English Language Learners.
We collaborate and partner with teachers to inspire their students to write and believe in and support teachers as writers.
We also partner with other nonprofit organizations, community organizations, and cultural institutions to bring additional opportunities for students to create and publicly celebrate their stories.
Our services are structured around our understanding that great leaps in learning can happen with individualized attention and dedicated mentorship, and that strong writing skills are fundamental to future success.
