What we need
  • An easily understood visual aid that communicates complex information
  • A high-resolution version of the Infographic in the Organization’s preferred format
Additional details

This infographic project is map-based, and additionally entails presenting numerical information in the form of graphs.

What we have in place
  • We have the data and information you will need for the project, as well as some initial ideas for the graphic for you to work with.

    Also, we will provide a style guide that will give you general indications of our visual brand for you to work with.

    Finally, as project manager, I'm easily available through email or Skype to answer all of your questions and provide any additional info that you might need!
How this will help
This project will save us $4,212 , allowing us to allowing us to create a skills-based volunteer matching platform like Catchafire for climate adaptation.

The recent incident in the Suez Canal highlighted global shipping and its challenges. Meanwhile, some countries and shipping companies see melting Arctic sea ice as an opportunity. But, the dialogue is often poorly informed: this project helps correct some misconceptions.

With timely contributions to the worldwide Arctic conversation, The Arctic Institute has been providing reliable and up-to-date information on international Arctic affairs for nearly a decade.

Milestone 1: Preliminary Sketching
  • Professional develops three drafted concepts to share with the Organization
  • Volunteer Manager chooses one draft as a primary concept and provides feedback

Milestone 2: Graphic Creation
  • Professional provides Volunteer Manager with first draft of Infographic
  • Volunteer Manager provides Professional with up to two rounds feedback

Milestone 3: Presentation of Deliverables

Established in 2011, TAI provides data, analysis, and recommendations to policymakers, researchers, media, and the interested public.
