Website Audit
Website Audit
Project details
What we need
- Feedback on the current website’s layout, user functionality, mobile-friendliness, visual design, content, and other key features
- Clear articulation of the Organization’s goals for the website
- Recommendations for improvements to help achieve the Organization’s desired goals
- Note: If you are looking for a more specific, in-depth audit of your website's design and usability, try our Website Usability Audit project
Additional details
The current website is dated and not user friendly. We are looking for brighter colors, better links, and photos and videos to attract more traffic from partners, donors, residents and other potential partners
What we have in place
- We currently have clear goals and one prior audit that was done a year ago., which should make it easy for you to get started. We also have written materials for content, and the ability to provide any other information you need.
How this will help
This project will save us $4,762 , allowing us to do one of two things- continue our Mutual Aid efforts to the community and help with neighborhood housing rehabbing,
We expect that a professional and exciting website willl better communicate the work that we do and are doing in Milwaukee's Metcalfe Park Community and that it will be attractive to partners, donors, residents and potential donors and partners.
Project plan
Our mission
We aim to create a neighborhood where residents are safe, connected to each other, participate in community and civic life, have access to educational and economic opportunities, and celebrate diversity and culture.
What we do
In 2012, five Metcalfe Park resident leaders formed the Metcalfe Park Community Action Team (MPCAT) to join with neighborhood and citywide partners in considering how resident engagement could contribute to the improvement of Milwaukee's Metcalfe Park neighborhood.
The same year, Metcalfe Park was chosen as a site for the Building Neighborhood Capacity Program (BNCP), a federally-funded program that provided the financial resources and support for residents and partners to catalyze resident-driven neighborhood revitalization. Resident and partner involvement in the BNCP yielded a vision, mission and values for change, and led MPCAT to become Metcalfe Park Community Bridges.
We welcome all residents to join in developing and implementing Metcalfe Park Community Bridges' work. It is only in coming together to achieve our priorities - safety and placemaking, connectedness and cultural vibrance, civic engagement, intergenerational wealth and opportunity, and health and wellness - that we can lift up our collective power to make progress toward our long-term vision of a robust and thriving community.
Testimonials
It was a true pleasure to work with Mauro. He is thoughtful, mindful of deadlines, and very thorough. He helped us to ask the right questions. As a result, his audit report was "spot-on" and will be extremely helpful as we work on a new website design.
