Project details

What we need
  • A compelling narrative, or set of stories
  • Persuasive copy that can be used in appeals to donors, annual reports, grant applications, and media relations
  • Popular examples: Organization's founding story, a program achievement or milestone, a look back at the past few years, organizational backgrounder, etc.
  • Note: This project is not intended to support your general content planning or marketing but there are several projects in our Marketing & Communications category which are a good fit!
Additional details

Digital Literacy Rocks is seeking support in improving the way we communicate our founding story, mission, vision, values, program achievements and program strategy plans to stakeholders and supporters. We wish to create compelling narratives to share on our webpage and use these narratives to build out our media toolkits.

What we have in place
  • We currently have feedback from clients and "best-in-class" webpage examples, which should make it easy for you to get started. We also have updated mission, vision and value statements, and the ability to provide any other information you need.
How this will help
This project will save us $2,397 , allowing us to redirect these cost savings to other operating expenses.

Communicating using compelling narratives about the individuals we serve and the community impact our service brings will greatly encourage stakeholders and supporters to continue to engage, participate, and give.

Our mission

Our Mission is to enhance the quality of life for adult communities being left behind by the digital divide.

What we do

We provide hands-on, customized instruction in Computer Basics, Microsoft Word, Excel and Power Point at the beginner and intermediate levels. We do this LIVE on Zoom in one-on-one or small group settings - meeting people where they are and helping them along the journey to reach their goals. A nationally recognized Digital Literacy Certificate is awarded upon satisfactory completion of instruction.

He gets two thumbs up, way up for his contributions to the organizations web content on its new website which will launch by year-end 2021.
