Project details

What we need
  • A list of suggested vendors, such as: catering, venue, audio/visual (AV), decorations, merchandising
  • Spreadsheet outlining expected costs per vendor
Additional details

We are currently looking for a print on demand fulfilment service provider that would provide Green Our Planet with the ability to sell products online such as t-shirts, hats, water bottles etc. What we are looking for is someone with a background in digital marketing and/or sales who can help us:

(1.) Identify a fulfilment centre that will provide excellent products when purchased by our clients
(2.)Help us figure out the best products to sell that will provide a decent revenue stream for us

What we have in place
  • We already have a list of the products that we want to sell on our website from t-shirts and hats, to water bottles and garden signs etc. We also have most of the products already designed. We have Woo Commerce set up on our website which means our website has the capability to operate as a store. What we are missing is an understanding of fulfilment houses and how they work and which ones are best as well as the knowledge on how best to set up a store and advertise it to our supporters.
How this will help
This project will save us $3,002 , allowing us to provide a school garden program to a needy school to support student learning and health.

This project will allow us to create an online store as part of our website where people can purchase Green Our Planet merchandise. The profits from the store will be a funding source to support the garden and hydroponics programming that we provide to schools. We mostly work with low-income schools so this will support the health and education of students in low-income communities

Our mission

Green Our Planet is a 501(c)3 nonprofit conservation organization that runs the largest and one of the most comprehensive STEM (science, technology, engineering, and math) school garden and hydroponics programs in the United States. The program's mission is to increase student academic performance in STEM subjects as well as to conserve and protect the environment through project-based STEM education, which includes nutrition, financial literacy, and conservation education in PreK-12 schools.

What we do

Green Our Planet helps schools across the country create comprehensive outdoor garden and indoor hydroponic programs that teach STEM, nutrition, entrepreneurship, and conservation. The gardens are used as "living laboratories," which help inspire students to become the next generation of scientists, farmers, chefs, and entrepreneurs.

97% of the teachers who use our school garden programs recommend them to other schools while our programs are now the largest of their kind in the country. We work with schools everywhere from Alaska to Florida because we are able to deliver our programming online. We also run the only school garden programs accredited by STEMworks in the U.S.
