Google Workspace Set Up
Google Workspace Set Up
Project details
What we need
- Setup and implementation of Google Workspace account and specific apps
- Training for up to 5 staff on how to configure and use Google's apps
- Note: Google Apps for Nonprofits (Google Workspace) is free for qualifying 501(c)(3) nonprofits, and includes 30GB of storage across Gmail and Google Drive
Additional details
I've got Workspace connected/set up/in place - but I think it's trying to use the same email addresses we've got set up via Hostgator so I could use some help redirecting those emails as well as making sure all of the other pieces of Workspace are configured properly. I'd prefer to not have someone just do it; I'd like to be involved in the process so I can document for the future what might break and how we'd need to fix it.
What we have in place
- We currently have Workspace active, which should make it easy for you to get started. We also have various people and a dedicated person wanting to learn, and the ability to provide any other information you need.
How this will help
This project will save us $2,296 , allowing us to focus on education for both our members and the public instead of dealing with miscommunication and lack of knowledge issues.
We're trying to tie all of our software usage into one - or as close to one - set of tools as much as we can to streamline and simplify the process of movement of volunteers into various Board positions.
Project plan
Our mission
The Tucson Handweavers and Spinners Guild, a Fiber Arts Community, promotes creative expression and appreciation of the fiber arts to its diverse member base and the public through both virtual and direct meetings, workshops, community outreach, exhibitions and social media.
What we do
As one of the oldest Arts guilds in Tucson, THSG promotes and preserves the fiber arts and related disciplines through educational programming, community outreach and philanthropic endeavors. We host one of the largest libraries of fiber arts books and materials in the Southwest, sponsor workshops for the growth and development of our members and guests, engage in collaborative learning though discipline specific study groups, educate the public in the fiber arts through school and community outreach and provide a forum for our members to showcase and sell their creations.
Testimonials
I found Katie to be extremely knowledgeable, professional, and personable. If I have another project to open for which Katie is an option as my volunteer, I suspect I'll try first to solicit her assistance over anyone else.
