What we need
  • A 4-week content calendar for one social media platform, including graphics & copy (12-20 posts, or as agreed upon by both parties)
  • A content calendar template that can be used to plan out posts in the future
Additional details

I am currently running all our social media in addition to getting other elements of our organization up and running, and would love for someone with actual experience / expertise to be able to take my foundation and build it into something better!

What we have in place
  • We currently have Instagram, Facebook, Twitter and Linkedin accounts, which should make it easy for you to get started. We also have the ability to choose which ones to prioritize, and the ability to provide any other information you need.
How this will help
This project will save us $4,212 , allowing us to re-invest time and money into evolving our programming and growing our impact.

As we work to grow a community of users, funders, and partners around our work, social media will be a critical piece. But we're really not experts!

  • Volunteer Manager shares social media credentials and existing marketing materials with Professional
  • (If applicable) Professional audits existing social media account to determine which content types are performing best
  • Volunteer Manager and Professional discuss & agree upon target audiences, content types, and posting frequency

Milestone 1: Calendar Structure Creation
  • Professional uses Google Sheets, Excel, Airtable, or comparable software to set up content calendar structure
  • Volunteer Manager reviews and provides feedback, which Professional incorporates

Milestone 2: Content Creation
  • Volunteer Manager shares raw materials (photos, quotes, stories, etc) that Professional needs to create content
  • Professional creates up to 4 weeks’ worth of social media posts (approximately 12-20 posts) and inputs into calendar
  • Volunteer Manager reviews and provides feedback, which Professional incorporates

(Optional) Milestone 3: Content Scheduling / Software Setup
  • Professional connects Organization’s social media account to a scheduling software like Buffer or Hootsuite
  • Professional sets up and schedules up to 4 weeks of posts in scheduling software
