Project details

What we need
  • An edited 1-3 minute video delivered in electronic format as agreed upon between the Professional and Organization, with HD quality as a master version, along with any agreed upon formats for final usage
Additional details

We have recordings of webinars held during the Global South Women's Forum and we would like to make them more accessible by cutting out unnecessary gaps spent on breakout rooms, technical difficulties etc. We don't need anything fancy, just basic trimming!

What we have in place
  • We have the video recordings on file; they are also already up on our YouTube channel. We can provide the relevant timings for edits.
How this will help
This project will save us $5,422 , allowing us to organise more online events

The sessions held at Global South Women's Forum 2020 aim to share knowledge with women's rights activists from around the world, and we'd like them to be as accessible as possible to audiences going forward. After editing, we will arrange English transcription followed by translations into other languages.

Prep: Information Sharing & Asset Exchange
  • Volunteer Manager provides overview of vision and goals for video, as well as information about target audience
  • Volunteer Manager and Professional agree upon file format and length of video
  • Volunteer Manager collects collateral (e.g. raw video footage, photos, testimonials, media materials) to be edited into the video, and digitizes all the materials in the format and resolution suggested by the professional. If applicable, the Organization provides links to 3-5 videos it would like the professional to use as a creative guideline for the final product

Milestone 1: Video Outline & Script Finalization
  • Professional reviews assets that the Organization shared (including existing footage and proposed script) to create video outline
  • Professional shares with Organization and incorporates feedback

Milestone 2: Video Creation & Feedback
  • Professional creates video in agreed upon format and shares with Organization for feedback (up to 2 rounds)

Milestone 3: Final Video Delivery
  • Professional delivers final video in agreed upon format
