Additional details
Have a few different versions of these because our organization has changed a lot over the last two years. I would like to revisit them so that we can gain some clarity internally around our goals, and then in turn be able to communicate that through our brand/marketing messages and to potential donors/supporters.
What we have in place
- We currently have mission/vision statements, which should make it easy for you to get started. We also have a general direction on where we want to go, and the ability to provide any other information you need.
How this will help
This project will save us $7,248 , allowing us to continue providing funds to the schools we support in Tanzania.
It is hard to accomplish anything if you don't have a clear direction of where you're going. For awhile, I've felt like we were stumbling around in the dark, but I think we are starting to gain some clarity. Therefore, I'm hoping we will be able to finalize our mission, vision, and values with this exercise to ensure we are all on the same page internally.

Our mission
We leverage international travel & volunteering to build capacity for local NGOs in Tanzania who are fighting poverty in their communities.
What we do
We work hand-in-hand with local NGOs to implement and develop their ideas/projects so that they can achieve their mission of ending poverty in their communities. Currently, our main project is a collaboration with Mother's Mercy Children's Organization in Arusha, Tanzania to provide indigent youth with their basic needs, as well as access to quality education and healthcare services.
