What we need
- Print-ready designed brochure template provided in a high-resolution format (jpeg, pdf, etc.)
- Collateral, to be used in conjunction with the Brochure Writing project, for new marketing materials
- Accurate, print-ready specifications
- Note: This project does not include printing
Additional details
We aim to create an event program to be handed out to attendee at Movie Night events on June 1-4, featuring local community history. The program will also invite attendees to participate in From the Rock Wall, our new online home for community history.
Design software we have access to: Adobe InDesign or Canva
What we have in place
- As resources for the project, we have unique visual assets, a rough draft version, and a fun vision for the event. You will work closely with our creative and talented public history team, and will be able to receive feedback from our Community Review Board (consisting of long-term neighbors and historians), which guides our work. We'll need a fairly quick turnaround for the project since the event is in a month, so we promise to be responsive!
How this will help
This project will save us $4,212 , allowing us to continue preserving the future of Northside, Pine Knolls and Tin Tops -- three historically Black neighborhoods in Chapel Hill and Carrboro, North Carolina.
We are so excited about this event. The program will serve as a memorable keepsake especially for neighbors who have deep roots in the neighborhoods -- some of whom will recognize family members in the silent films that will be screened!
