What we need
  • Ongoing finance support for 10-15 hours over the course of 4 weeks
  • Support may include: budgeting, planning, systems set up and review
  • Note: We devised this project to connect nonprofits and volunteers for more flexible, more immediate impact. We strongly suggest you start with 4 weeks and decide from there if you'd like to continue working.
Additional details

We need help with financial controlling, internal accounting, cost accounting and the preparation of service contracts in line with Austrian association law for our umbrella organization POW Europe.

What we have in place
  • We currently have all our documents at hand and prepared our financial closure, which should make it easy for you to get started. We also have all other documentation and a clear idea of what we, and the ability to provide any other information you need.
How this will help
This project will save us $5,094 , allowing us to dedicate more of our funds for our core mission, advocating for more ambitious climate and mobility policy and educating our community to achieve our mission to achieve net-zero by 2050

This project is very important to set a solid and sound basis for our financial controlling, accounting and transparency to ensure that we comply with all regulations for non-profits in Austria and as such are eligible to apply for certifications and can provide clear guidance to our partners for donations, sponsorship and other types of fundraising.

  • Volunteer Manager provides overview of an ongoing finance need they have over the next 2-4 weeks
  • Volunteer and Volunteer Manager align on the scope of ongoing support that the Volunteer will provide to address this need

Step 1: Ongoing Support
  • Volunteer delivers ongoing support according to determined outline
  • Weekly check-ins to ensure support is being offered as agreed upon by both parties

Step 2: Training & Offboarding
  • Volunteer provides any relevant training to the Volunteer Manager to help them continue work, as necessary, after 4 weeks
